Anaco Hosts Canned Food Drive for Settlement House
November 16, 2015
Anaco recently held a canned food drive for the benefit of Settlement House, a local non-profit organization located in Corona-Norco.
Settlement House, a United Way Agency, is an outgrowth of Associated Charities which began in 1912 to aid Corona's low-income families. The Agency was renamed Settlement House in 1918 and provided home education and relief among the needy. They also assisted local residents in need with food, shelter, clothing, rent and referrals to other appropriate agencies. The program is funded through private and company donations, as well as assistance from the United Way and grants from the federal and city governments. It is their mission that no individual or family go without food or shelter and no child goes to school without proper clothes.
Great job team Anaco.
