December 29, 2015
Anaco team member Gilberto Cesena (pictured with his family and Anaco General Manager Bill Kenney) is retiring after 27 years of service. He began his journey (pictured on left) at Anaheim Foundry, a company later acquired by McWane in the mid-1990s. Over the past 27 years, he has held several positions including Laborer, Cupola Operator, Crane Operator, Shipping and General Maintenance worker and will end his career at Anaco as a Material Handler.
In his exit interview, Gilberto was very positive and said he had poured his heart out for Anaco with no regrets. During his time with the company, Gilberto said he has seen the company dynamics change for the better and he is proud to work for a company that helps him to provide for his family.
Gilberto will be missed and we wish him a long and happy retirement. He is excited to enter his next journey with the love of his family, caretaking of his two grandchildren (pictured).
