Kennedy Valve Team Walks in Support of Suicide Prevention and Awareness
May 11, 2015
Kennedy Valve (KV) team members joined hundreds of other walkers on May 2 for the 10th Annual Walk a Mile in My Shoes event at Eldridge Park in Elmira, New York. This event was started 10 years ago to promote suicide prevention and awareness. Walkers enjoyed live music and special guest Kevin Briggs, Retired California Highway Patrol.
Kennedy Valve made a generous donation and had 75 walkers sign up to take part in the event. In fact, KV won the trophy for a second time for the most participants.
Way to go KV!
