The Clow Canada team and members of Local 835 IAM raised $2,850 for the Romero House Soup Kitchen and Clow Canada matched dollar for dollar the amount raised.  Money was raised all year through donations from team members and selling recyclable bottles and cans and scrap wood.

Clow’s Vice President General Manager Rick Benoit praised the team’s efforts saying, “The entire team at the Saint John plant came together throughout the year to make generous donations and come up with creative ways to raise money for Romero House. This shows our continued commitment to the Saint John community.”

Romero House operates a soup kitchen that provides 400 meals per day, a clothing bank, emergency family assistance, outreach, chapel, health care room, life skills support and a mobile unit that travels around the city at night distributing coffee and sandwiches to the homeless.
